Kathmandu Valley

SWAYAMBU NATH TEMPLESWAYAMBU NATH TEMPLE:
This is one of the world's most glorious Buddhist Chaityas. It is said to be 2000 years old. Painted on the four sides of the spire bases are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It is three kilometers of Kathmandu city and is situated on a hillock about 77m.above the level of the Kathmandu valley. We will visit here about 2 hours.

BUDDHA NATH:
This Stupa of Buddhanath lies eight kilometers east of Kathmandu. This colossal and ancient Stupa is one of the biggest in the world. We can visit here 1 hour.

PASHUPATI TEMPLEPASHUPATI TEMPLE:
Situated five kilometers east Kathmandu. The temple of Lord Shiva, Pashupatinath with two tied golden roof and easily see the temple and the activities preformed in the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati River. We can visit here 1hour.

KATHMANDU DURBAR SQURE:
It is historic seat of royalty. The durbar square, with it's old temples and places, epitomizes the religious and culture life of the people. We will visit here around 2 hours and after that we will back to hotel and enjoy evening dinner.

BHAKTAPUR DURBAR SQURE:
BHAKTAPUR DURBAR SQURESituated at an altitude of 1,401m.Bhaktapur covers area of 4 square miles. Shaped like a couch-shell. Bhaktapur means the city of devoees. Pottery and weaving are it's traditional industries. The city lies about 14 kilometers East of Kathmandu and can be reached by public transport and by trolley buses. The major sightseeing places in Bhaktapur include: DURBAR SQURE: The main square of the city contains innumerable temples and other architectural showpieces like the Lion Gate, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, the picture Gallery, the golden Gate, the 55 windows, the Batsala temple and the Bell of Barking dogs, etc. The statue of the king Bhupatendra Malla in the act of worship is placed on a colum facing the palace. Of the many statues available in Nepal this is considered to be the most magnificent. Main point we will visit here above places.

PATAN DURBAR SQUAREPATAN DURBAR SQUARE
Situated the heart of the city constitutes the focus of visitor's attraction. The square is full of ancient palaces, temples and shrines, noted for their exquisite carvings. The Patan Durbar square consists of three main Chowk, Sundari Chowk and Keshav Narayan Chowk. The Sundari Chowk holds in the center a masterpiece of stone architecture, the Rayal bath called Tushshity. KRISHNA MANDIR. Built in the seventeenth century, the temple of Lord Krishna holds a commanding position in the palace complex of Patan. It is supposed to be the first specimen of Shikhara style architecture in Nepal. It is the only temple having 21 spires and is completely.

KRITIPUR
Situated atop a strategic hillock 10km southwest of Kathmandu, Kartiour (local name Kipu) indeed embodies courage and bravery. Though this township went into backwater following its final defeat in 1768 at the hand of the Gurkhas, it still retains its old glory in art and culture. So those, who enjoy basking in antiquity, should never miss to go around this historic place to have closed-up views of the typical lifestyle of its Newar inhabitants and their much admired skills in producing textile and other handicraft items. The height of Kritipur also makes it a favored place for viewing the Kathmandu valley as well as the Himalayas in the distant north. And for those, who wish blending their cultural trip with a touch of spiritual salvation, there are the Buddhist Chilamchu Stupa, Shiva Parvati temple and many other remarkable mountains. Its gem, however, lies in the three-storied Bagh Bhairav temple, which is adorned with, among others, the weaponry the warriors of Kritipur had taken away from the Gurkha Soldiers.

POKHARA VALLEY

POKHARA VALLEY Full day sight seeing Pokhara. The magnificent central Nepal Valley of Pokhara lies nestled beneath the solendid Annapurna range, home to some of the most beautiful mountain peaks of Nepal. Situated some 200kilometres west of Kathmandu, the town of pokhara is the second most popular destination in Nepal. Stretched out on one side is the serene Phewa Lake, while to the north lies the captivating 140kilometer Himalayan panorama, which includes the famed Machhapuchhre(Fish Tail) and you can se many more beautiful things from Pokhara.

MAIN SIGHT SEEING PLACES ARE FOLLOW:
The highlight of a stay in Pokhara is simply gazing at the mountains that lie strung across the northern sky. And what a sight it is. Starting from Dhaulagiri (8167 meters) in the extreme left, the view includes Annapurna South (7129 metres), the Annapurna I (8091 meters), Machhapuchhare (6997 meters), Annapurna IV, Annapurna III (7444 meters), Annapurna II (7937 meters) and Lamjung (6983 meters). Nowhere else in the world can one enjoy such a magnificent panorama up so close while enjoying the comforts of sub-tropical surroundings.

Besides spending time boating, swimming or fishing in Phewa Lake, taking a leisurely stroll along its bank is a good way of acquainting oneself with the Lakeside. This comes in handy especially if a stay of more than a couple of days is planned. This gives one opportunity to get an idea of the variety that is on offer.
Pokhara does not have many monumental sights like Kathmandu does. But that does not matter since this beautiful town is more of excursion. However, for the more energetic, there are a few places around that are worth a visit. To begin with, Pokhara’s bazaar area, especially the old part, is a pretty fascinating place. Here one can imagine the roll of the stone-paved sidewalks of this quiet area. All commercial activities have shifted to other areas – all the better since the old market still retains its quaint character of a town that time has passed by.

DAVIS FALL:
Is a small but extraordinary waterfall. It’s original Nepali name of patale Chhango has now given way to the Anglicised version because a tourists by the name of Davis had plunged to his death in this particular the shapes of the stones and rocks through which the stones and rocks and rocks through which the water drains are really unique and worth seeing.

MAHERRA CAVE:
Is a limestone cave with stalagmites and stalactites. It is a cave that is interesting from a religious point of Hindu gods and goddesses on the walls of the cave and these are said to have occurred naturally. Electric lamps illuminate parts of the cave but it is safer to go in with torches or candles since power failure is quite common.

THE SETI GORGE:
Is formed by the milky white Seti River which flows across Pokhara and in places runs so deep underground that it cannot be seen. This is because of the porous character of the soil which is rich with limestone. “Seti” in Nepali means “white”, the colour of this river’s water that comes from its mixing with limestone. Over time, the Site river has carved a deep and narrow gorge whose fascinating vistas is best seen from Mahendra pool and from across the airport runway.

BINDHYABASINI TEMPLE
Is the most famous religious site in Pokhara. The temple, dedicated to the goddess Durga, is an ornate structure constructed on a tiny hillock that constructed on a tiny hillock that gives a commanding view of the town. The Pokhara Museum houses exhibits on the local history and is located north of the bus terminal on the main road. Entry fee is Rs.5 per person. The museum remains closed on Tuesday.
