ROYAL TREKKING IN POKHARA

Rather commonly known as Pokhara/Syaklung Trek before, Prince of Wales, along with his number of companions have done this trek. After this historical event this route has named as the Royal Trek. It is an easy and short route, which gives mind-blowing views of Mt. Machhapuchhare including Annapurna ranges. This can be a lifetime experience for those who dream to be in the kingdom of the Himalayas.

      Itinerary

Days Program

Arrival, transfer to the hotel and unpacking.

Full day sight seeing around the three queen cities in kathmandu valley.

Drive or fly out from Kathmandu to Pokhara and camping at Pokhara or in a Hotel.

Pokhara to Kalikasthan (1,870m). Also trek starts after drive approximately half an hour by taxi or a reserved bus from Pokhara Bazaar to Bijayapur Khola. Brahman and chhetries mostly inhabit the route along to Kalikasthan. The children may hassle to the tourists asking for sweets, ballpens, note books , money etc.

Kalikasthan to syaklung (1,780m), also known as Gurung village, the trail continues through jungle, taking views of Annapurna II, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu, Himchuli and so on initially the trail descend steeply down to Chautara. The trail twists, west leads to Begnas Tal, likewise east to Marsyangdi Khola. The Royal Trek's trail climbs towards the camping spot Chisapani.

Chisapani to Pokhara: Trail follows steeply down for an hour to reach into a small valley with a small stream. Trek will end at Pokhara after drive approximately 12 km. from Begnas Bazaar by a taxi or a reserved bus and camping at Pokhara or stay in a hotel.

Pokhara to chitwan : After breakfast, drive out for chitwan. On the way to Chitwan at Fishling rafting point, the crew will be waiting for an exciting 3 till 4 hours rafting on the Trishuli River. Rafting Putout point at Mugling, we have much and continue drive of chitwan and stay there for the night. Welcome drink and relaxing .

At Chitwan full day program: elephant ride and bird watching after bed tea or coffee. Breakfast Canoeing on Rapti River, lunch, nature walk and special show of Tharu ethnic group's with Stick dance and dinner at 8 o'clock in the evening.
